Located in the heart of the legendary Place de la Madeleine, the historic birthplace of the FAUCHON brand, Fauchon L'Hôtel Paris embodies the pleasure, savoir-faire and audacity that characterize Parisian life.
On arrival, guests staying one night or more at Fauchon L'Hôtel Paris in the room or suite category of their choice, begin their immersion in the temple of gourmet delights with a welcome mocktail based on FAUCHON teas, emblematic products of the Maison, accompanied by the iconic macaroons.
A day at Fauchon L'Hôtel Paris gets off to a gentle start with breakfast in your room, suite or at the Grand Café Fauchon, while contemplating the city of light as it gradually comes to life, and experiencing the effervescence of Parisian life in the early hours of the morning.
In the room, guests are invited to discover Fauchon L'Hôtel Paris' gourmet grail: the Gourmet Bar, which adapts to guests' pleasures to delight their senses with a fully customizable selection of sweet and savory FAUCHON products. Exclusive delicacies will accompany their stay every day: macaroons, mouth-shaped financiers and the iconic FAUCHON madeleines will greet them from the moment they step into their room.
To enhance their journey, customers will have the chance to take part in an immersive experience through the history of the Maison's emblematic teas: "The sensory journey through the history of FAUCHON teas". This 45-minute workshop invites participants to explore three key moments in the evolution of FAUCHON teas, highlighting their historical, olfactory and gustatory characteristics.
Back to 1896
with the V'Oclock tea - 15min
This first stage immerses participants in the history of FAUCHON teas, featuring the V'oclock tea dating back to 1896. They'll have the opportunity to discover the fascinating history of this iconic creation, accompanied by an assortment of chocolates to highlight the tea's cocoa pairing. In addition, a presentation on chocolate food pairings and temperature play will enrich the experience.
An olfactory voyage back to the 60s
with the "An Afternoon in Paris" tea - 15min
This part of the workshop takes participants back to the 60s with the "An Afternoon in Paris" tea and the arrival of scented teas at FAUCHON. The focus is on the olfactory notes of this tea, accompanied by a tasting of macaroons. An interactive game adds a playful dimension to the experience, where participants must identify aromas using scented bells, thus recreating the aromatic note of "An Afternoon in Paris" tea.
A gustatory journey through time
with the "BISOU BISOU" tea - 15 min
This final workshop celebrates the marriage of tradition and modernity with the BISOU BISOU tea. Participants will have the opportunity to taste FAUCHON's emblematic pastry, the BISOU BISOU, before taking up the challenge of recomposing this delight into a tea. They will choose from a selection of ingredients to create a blend reflecting the intensity and subtlety of the flavors present in the entremet.

Quiet and elegant, the Chais Monnet & Spa hotel immerses its guests in the hushed world of the old cognac cellars, offering a unique gastronomic experience based on the transmission of Charentais know-how.
Guests staying one night or more at Hôtel Chais Monnet & Spa, in the room or suite category of their choice, will enjoy a delicious breakfast every morning.
In their rooms, they will discover a collection of cognac mignonnettes specially designed by Maison Monnet, as well as a gourmet basket filled with delicious regional produce.
Finally, guests will be invited to take part in a masterclass in the magnificent Jazz Bar Le 1838, Maison Monnet's former cooperage. Whether novice or experienced, they'll learn the nuts and bolts of cognac-making and the subtleties of its history. A dedicated team of bartenders will enable them to make their own creations, while discovering some of the best-kept secrets of mixology and the art of tasting.
The experience will be enhanced by the delicious mignardises and bouchées prepared by the chefs Matis Debize and Alexandre Mornet. These will be served at the same time as the masterclass, and carefully paired with cocktails and cognac.
Booking conditions:
- Customers must stay at least one night in each establishment during the same trip (except for special sales conditions - high season with imposed minimum length of stay, blackout dates, etc.).
- The transfer between Fauchon L'Hôtel Paris and the Montparnasse train station, and the transfer between L'Hôtel Chais Monnet and the Angoulème train station are not included in the package, but can be added to it. Train reservations between the two stations are not included in the package, guest relations at each hotel are nevertheless available to provide information on booking train tickets.
- Reservations can only be made by telephone or e-mail with the Fauchon L'Hôtel Paris reservations department or the Chais Monnet & Spa reservations department. The hotel of their choice will then get in touch with the other hotel.
- The rate is based on the rates on each hotel's official website.
- The rate is dynamic and reservations are subject to availability of the room or suite category chosen.
- Certain dates are not open for booking.
- Guests who have booked the package will receive a confirmation email from each hotel.
